Amaka-hey there

Ji- hi

Amaka-I have waited a long while for this day , heard a lot about the famous akpancha master you know.

Ji- well I have been waiting for the famous Amaka Ta to get an interview with me.

Amaka-im not famous , im just a regular girl

Ji-beautiful regular girl

Amaka-  be steady washing me . Anyway what drove you into the music industry?

Ji-I’m too lazy to wash anything . And the passion for music did.

Amaka – so what is your relationship with record label CEG?

Ji-there is no pen and paper written agreement yet , but for now that is my gang.

Amaka- so how do you juggle school and music?

Ji-to be honest it is really hard but with God I am trying

Amaka – what course are you studying ?

Ji-petroleum engineering

Amaka – wow that is big . what is your favourite subject ? let me guess math

Ji-no it is actually physics, most people don’t believe I’m smart , I like it that way though .

Amaka – to be honest every woman wants an intelligent man J

Ji-and most of them want the money

Amaka- I wont argue with you because its kinda true . so any special woman in your life ?

Ji- yes there is , my mother

Amaka- aside your mother and sister(s)

Ji-lowkey

Amaka- low-key? , okay then what is the first letter  of her name ?

Ji-the letter is silent

Amaka- Lies, please enlighten us

Ji-Miss TA , Management policy

Amaka- ok sir .by the way how did you come up with akpancha  and what does it mean?

ji-well, one time I was chilling with my gang ,  and then one babe came into our room in school and just layed down. And one of my guys Jemeni just said Akpancha.. and then the word was formed. It means that special person ,babes could use it for special somebody , likewise guys. But personally it is the babe that gets everything .

amaka- hmm ok . so what makes Ji cry ?

ji- nothing really , but a month ago I cried when I lost a special somebody

amaka – sorry . as a correct igbo boy what is your best meal ?

ji-ofe owerri and fufu mehn or ogbonni by my granny

Amaka – which other artistes would you like to work with?

Ji-Tomi Thomas , wizkid , bangalee himself (dbanj) a couple of others .

Amaka- are we expecting new music soon ?

Ji-of course , im currently in the lab inventing new hits.

Fifo-Hello Amaka :)

Amaka- I have  seen  a lot of your work and I’m really impressed , so at what age did develop interest in photography 

Fifo-  Thank you! I appreciate this! I Loved pictures from a very young age! My computer had thousands of pictures I would just look at everytime. They looked so amazing. so you can say photography has been a part of me.

Amaka-  so when did you get your first camera, what model and who got it for you ?

Fifo-  I got it last year June a D40 nikon model and I worked to raise money and was given a loan by my father to complete the payment.

Amaka- so what was your first job?

Fifo- I would say RISE 1 was my big break

Amaka- so how did XLT start and what’s the full meaning?

Fifo- Well I mean! XLT had been in plans for like 6 months alongside our manager Rotimi. But as I said RISE 1 marked the beginning of XLT. And XLT means Extraordinary Life Touching Photography

Amaka- oh ok, so personally what kind of pictures do you enjoy taking, nature, culture  etc ?

Fifo- Personally I like People Photography! People, Portraits, Events, Pictures that capture the moments that can be remembered.

Amaka- so what is special about your pictures cause XLT is covering practically all the events this summer ?

Fifo- Honestly! There’s nothing special! Everyone just loves clear pictures with good quality! And we give that!

Amaka- so there has always been this argument over which company makes better cameras : canon or nikon, which do u prefer ?

Fifo- To be honest! Both have their pros and cons! But using the nikon has made me enjoy its benefits ,however cameras like the 7D and 5D are super awesome Canons

Amaka- alot of young photographers look up to you is there any special thing you want to tell them ?

Fifo- Passion! That drives you to be different! To be the best! And hard work too! Photography isn’t easy work!

Amaka- one last question, i saw a picture saying XLT needed a creative director with a list of qualifications attached and we are aware that there are many other people under XLT since you are fondly called xltboss . so tell us , how much do your staff make ?

Fifo - XLT runs different projects! Many people work with us on contract! But how much we pay our members is confidential! I can tell you though that everyone is happy to be on the team :)

Amaka- so how do you feel about wining photography company of the year ?

Fifo-it feels good to be honest! like all the handwork our team puts in is being recognised.
